    Yes you can switch again.
  • How do I get the £125 M&S voucher? Followed the link on the MSE site and account has been opened but not been asked to switch an account to it? Do I need to proactively do this to get the £125 voucher?

You need to read and then follow these instructions:

I notice that York Bank has changed the switch terms from 60 to 70 days to get your cash and now you have to switch 2 active direct debits to get the £150.

Be prepared to wait a LONG time for the "customer service" department to answer the phone and then don't be surprised if "No one in the switching team is available to speak to you". This was my experience. The third time I called they offered to make an appointment the switching team did call me at the time promised. Unfortunately I can't switch a joint account to a single name account and the thought of closing the current single name account and opening a joint one just isn't worth the hassle for £100 gift card.

Other factors which made me decide not to switch my main account to M&S are:

NO MOBILE APP!! Unbelievable in this day and age

The "Secure Pass" machine is required for every action on the website even just looking at transactions. This is not the case with any of the other bank accounts I operate - I only need the secure key mechanism for things such as setting up or amending payees.

The length of time it takes to get through on the phone to customer services - the shortest time I waited was 13 minutes.

Nobody's forcing you to move to M&S. If you want the free money then you may have to have a bit of hassle to get it. If thirteen minutes on the phone is too much hassle for you, and you can't make use of the 6% Regular Saver Account that's associated with it, then don't do it!

It's a gift of £125 for the moment, not £100 as you stated. It's a gift horse.

Do you think I could get away with 3 TSB bank accounts in my household:

    1 for me
    1 for my wife and
    1 joint?

    Thanks
