  • I clicked through the MSE page to open the TSB current account which was successful. It then asks if you want to switch and unfortunately I was away from my computer for too long so this page timed out. How can I still apply to switch and get the £100 bonus!?

Are you saying your application was not completed? If so, you should be able to just start again - but clean cookies and browser history before you do.

If you are saying you had already been accepted for a TSB account, you should still be able to switch to it. Don't switch until you have got online access, your debit card, and your PIN for the TSB account - otherwise you could be left with no access to any money.

Whether you will get your £100 switching bonus depends on whether you have fulfilled the offer T&Cs.
  • Hi,
The link for the TSB switch with £100 no longer seems to work, has the offer expired

The offer will expire on the 11th. What link are you using, and what happens when you try it?

I applied for the HSBC switch mid month, got a letter on 4th Nov asking me to go into a branch to show play slips etc and I had 28 days to do this. I went within this time frame and my application was closed on the 28th October on their systems saying no contact. Only option to start a new application. That was after the branch called the call centre in Manilla to get the block lifted. No joy. They won't be having my business

Don't go to HSBC - took over a month to get debit cards, and my iPhone is too old to use their app, which you need to generate an extra level of security.

The app which generates the codes also stops working when either the app or your phone iOS updates. This happened 3 times to me and the call centre confirmed this was not a one off
