Mr F found a pack of YS diced beef at the bottom of the chest freezer. Had to simmer it for ages to tenderise. Made short crust pastry - added a cheap tin of baked beans + gravy. Had pie for dinner and 3 day's meals gone in the freezer. Sprouts were YS too. Chips were lo from yesterday.

Beef casserole from not one of my finest efforts, was a bit disappointed to find it in the freezer today. Fingers crossed that was the last portion.  Had it with some ikea meatballs and LO veg from the roast yesterday.

Roasted veg, halloumi and sweet potatoes for me.
Chicken pie for daughter and steak and kidney pie for husband with mashed potatoes, mushy peas and cabbage.
The remaining roasted veg will go into a lasagne sauce for tomorrow night.

I made a beef, pork and sausagemeat meatloaf which we had for supper last night (with mash, greens and gravy). We'll be having more of the same this evening, to finish it off.  For puds over the next few days I've gone all retro and made a sherry trifle.
