I did TITH - FF + roast potatoes/parsnip + carrots/onions + gravy. Baked a sponge pudding - used up jar of Ginger Conserve + tiny catering jar of marmalade + 2 spoonfuls of raspberry jam - so lot of flavour under the sponge.

I felt like I didnt stop cooking tonight, I made an irish stew, a quorn stew with dumplings, a soda bread, a chilli con carne, jacket potatoes and two apple crumbles.
We had the stews for dinner. Theres a dish of the meat one to go to the inlaws for their dinner tomorrow, along with a wedge of soda bread and an apple crumble.
The jacket potatoes will be made into wedges for tomorrow with the chilli.
  • Lunch today will be Moroccan Lentil Stew with Harissa seasoning with basmati rice and a light yoghurt for dessert.

Casserole in the fridge - could have that and Mr F found ready made pastry in the freezer + diced beef - like a choice each day.

  • A real comfort food  menu tonight at our household. I made HM steak and kidney pie; LC pastry for me and puff pastry for DS. Served it with swede puree, TS broccoli and some spiced red cabbage.
For pudding I had  a pice of S3x in a pan which is a lovely dessert  similar to tiramisu but more chocolatey. I freeze small portions of it so I can just grab one out of the freezer when I need a dessert.
