  • I made this pissaladiere with a less oily topping of leeks poached in vegetable stock and ricotta sprinkled with thyme leaves instead of the parmesan.

  • Noodle stir fry with Quorn pieces and black bean sauce followed by stewed apple and custard.
  • I made a lovely tea tonight: Cod and salmon in a parcel and oven baked served with a sauce of sauted veg (courgette, leeks, chopped fennel) in butter, lemon, splash of balsamic and garlic. Also had some TS broccoli, samphire and asparagus fried in lemon and butter and some celeriac puree and served it in a tower/pile. I wish I had taken a photo as even DS said it looked like it belonged in a Michelin restaurant! certainly looked prettier than my usual 'plonk it on a plate' approach.

Had a slice of blueberry and lemon almond sponge with cream for pudding.
  • Meatballs with roast potatoes and veg, menfolk also had jam and coconut sponge with custard for pudding.

Heated up some LO bits from the roast on Sunday and had that with a bit of chicken I'd cooked for the cat.
