Muntjac steaks with roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes.
Cornflake cakes now whilst watching the football!3 -
I gave DH the choice between a picnic/buffet-type dinner, or a Chinese fakeaway - he picked the picnic one. So we've got mini pork pies, mini sausage rolls, some garlic flatbread, tortilla chips, mini scotch eggs, and some little breaded chicken bites.
In theory there will be leftovers for lunches for the next few days but DH has been cleaning upstairs this afternoon so I imagine he'll be quite hungry!"You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

And me, though i am 100% sure my grandma never made me a flan of any kind ... I'm not keen on either flan or jelly so its mandarins with evaporated milk for me 🤣Islandmaid said:🤣 Tinned Mandarins always remind me of pudding for Sunday Tea at my Nan’s, a fruit flan with evaporated milk, the mandarin slices artfully placed in concentric circles, with a glacé cherry in the middle, covered in quick-jel
Dinner tonight was a portion of the casserole i made the other night with a teeny dollop of cheesy mash i found LO in the fridge.
Got a good YS haul in asda today, two bags of egg noodles and two bags of Mediterranean veg for 62p in total. Split the noodles and veg into 4 bags of each and whacked them in the freezer. Also got a bag of YS maris piper spuds for 25p. One is big enough for a baked spud. Given I've only just finished a bag i bought at xmas, these should do til Dec 🤣Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
