  • Potato Gnocchi with tomato sauce and grated parmesan cheese and a nice big salad followed by fresh blueberries and bananas with low fat Greek yoghurt and a cup of black coffee.

I'm making ginger, garlic and coriander minced beef noodles with green beans, red pepper and lime zest. I'm hungry now, just thinking about it!

There's ice cream for dessert if wanted.

Is it just me or are the majority in this thread vegetarians/ possible vegans? Notice a lot of non meat dishes, I do enjoy vegetarian meals but I am not vegetarian

I think a few are doing veganuary atm too.

Tonight’s delight is sit fry with noodles, beef in black bean, a quick flick around the wok and it’s done, a large part of the roof is coming off today, so literally open to the sky’s till tomorrow

  • It's HWKs 75th birthday today so I shall defrost him a rump steak from the freezer as he'll like that and I shall have a 'little eggy something' on a tray like Noel Coward always asked for. I shall make 'mashed potato mountains' to go with it and some nice veg and perhaps a sugar free crumble topped with crushed digestives for pudding as a treat.
