So on Saturday I went to a friends for supper and it was going to be weight watchers friendly, we had lasagne and salad for mains. That was not lasagne. Lol. It was quorn mince and ricotta, it seemed to be a hit with everyone but it was just ok for me. I think quorn mince is something that definitely doesn’t taste or feel like real mince.
Last night was turkey unicorns, crinkle chips and beans.
Tonight and tomorrow is bangers mash gravy and veg
Later in the week will be chicken curry0 -
Spaghetti bolognese for us tonight.0

Sunday I cooked a chicken, a bit daft really as only husband and dog will eat it.
Daughter had a vegan pasty. I had another nut roast that seems to be ever lasting. With roast potatoes, stuffing, gravy, carrots, tenderstem broccoli, peas and broad beans. Lemon sponge for afters.
Monday husband had chicken omelette, actifry chips, salad and coleslaw. I had sweet potato wedges, corn on the cob and halloumi and mushrooms in a pitta with salad and coleslaw. Daughter had the same as me but a vegan chicken burger instead of halloumi.
I also froze some of the cooked chicken and leftover stuffing in some bread rolls for easy lunches.0 -
Monday night - nut cutlet, roast potatoes, baby carrots, Brussels and gravy. It was yummy 😋

Jerk chicken with jacket potatoes and salad tonight.
I have had to bite the bullet and buy some easy meals to stick in the oven, as we are in the midst of major renovations and the kitchen is open to the elements this week, I swear it would be warmer in the freezer.
I hate not cooking from scratch:(Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
Bangers and mash again tonight,
Is it just me or are the majority in this thread vegetarians/ possible vegans? Notice a lot of non meat dishes, I do enjoy vegetarian meals but I am not vegetarian0 -
