Christmas turkey curry from the freezer, with home made onion bhajis. I love a Friday night curry0

Last night we had a load of random veg from the fridge, freezer and cupboard mixed with a tin of tuna, pasta and a jar of pasta sauce. Topped with cheese and baked. Nothing special but ok.
Tonight we had been busy, so we stopped off to buy fish and chips. I waited in the car, whilst husband went in to get them. 25 minutes later he returned. I would like to say the wait was worth it but that wouldnt be true. Oh well.0 -
JIL fish and chips can be so hit and miss I find. It's when they don't allow the fish to drain properly and it's all greasy still that gets me and particularly OH as it makes him feel queasy.
Tonight was some casserole from the other night out of the freezer, I couldn't be bothered to add anything with it as not overly hungry, OH has given me his bugs after weeks of trying so I've a poorly throat where nothing tastes right....still not being hungry is good for the Jan diet!
OH had ... actually I have no idea. Was still working when he got home.
Just back from an evening out...not out out as I drove. Saw a couple of tribute bands, didn't realise the one we were really wanting to see were the support act. They're fab, seen them loads before. Sadly the main act just didn't cut the mustard. Pre requisite of being a tribute is that the singer needs to sound vaguely like the person then are emulating ...he sounded like Axel Rose...it was not a GnR tribute. Felt really bad for them, we stayed until the end but I'm not exaggerating when I say approx 2/3 of what had been a pretty full venue had left by the time they did the encore.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

On DHs menu board it says Mac and cheese for tonight but he's taken chicken out of the freezer so I'm not sure what we're having.Spend less now, work less later.0

No idea tonight, I still have OH cold / throat infection and sound like Bett Lynch. On the upside thankfully it seems to be able to be kept under control with some over the counter drugs so if it's just riding it through as it is, I can cope with that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Last night was moussaka from the freezer, which was delicious.
I left early doors this morning to do a visa run (I'm back in Egypt for the foreseeable). I came home to find that the OH had created, from the contents of the fridge - a moussaka!
As such, we are now having friends around tomorrow night to demolish the moussaka beast, and two random freezer cartons (hopefully chilli, but who can say?!) are defrosting.
I am applying wine to salve the trauma of a 10 hour day in a car and a visa office.0 -
Pesto pasta with greens and borlotti beans last night - I’d bought a ton of them a while back with no plan.
Tonight will either be cauliflower tacos or the second round of fridge curry that I made on Friday to use up all the veg before I went shopping yesterday, depending on whether I can find space for it in the freezer!Original mortgage free date: November 2044Current mortgage free date: November 2038Chipping away...0 -

Roast here today, we’ve had a tin of Duck Confit in the cupboard for ages so we’re having that with roasties, tenderstem broccoli and carrots.
Didn’t make the crumble yesterday, so will do that for pud.
