Bean chilli, rice and tortilla chips - I think value brands are the absolute best tortilla chips!
  • No real plans but I bought some ready to eat (I think McCains) chips yesterday that keep in fridge for a few days so may have some of them with a fried egg, love a fried egg on chips. Got to finish my soup now.
  • Am going to have some old school fish & chips from a chippy that's so out of the way for me it's a once every 3 months or so treat! Will be eating them out of paper in a little park watching the world go by..... bliss!
  • Tonight we are having root veg and bean stew. We like a combination of baked beans and butter beans in ours. DH may have dumplings with his.

We have been away for a few days and had some lovely food.

We had a fish and chips to share at lunchtime by the sea, we got home about 6.30, we had some nachos with cheese and salsa and I made some refried bean snack things. Very easy but very tasty.

I cut a few wraps in half, put a blob of refried beans on, a bit of grated cheese and some salsa, I ran a flour and water mix round the edges, folded them into triangles, pressed the edges to seal and baked them for 10 mins. Quick and easy.
  • Got lump of hm butter chicken out of freezer for tonight and will have with filled up potato skin, mash/onion, and some strips of courgette. Having the 2nd portion of last nights stew tomorrow.
