OH has decided to drastically change his diet to try and alleviate some symptoms he's been having...right after I did a big shop yesterday, which means not only am I now left to eat through things I had bought for him that he will no longer eat, we need to also go back out for this he can / will eat. I feel the grocery budget will be right out the window. Still worth it if he feels better.
Dinner last night was vegan burgers (thankfully ok for him still) I had mine in a brioche bun with sweet potato fries, he had his naked with beans.

I'm just making a minced beef and vegetable pie (feat also some chestnut mushrooms which urgently needed using up). Mister CJ likes a pie and hasn't been indulged with one for a while, so it's my treat to him
For pud I am about to make a Malteser cheesecake.
These two things will feed us for several nights I imagine, that's the problem when the children have grown up and moved out and you are just cooking for two again. I try not to let things get repetitive but when you're out at work all day and time-poor, it's hard not to!0 -
Leftover homemade spring green lasagne from the freezer with bacon (Quorn version for me).0

Was taken out to a chain pub? (eerrrr lucky me!) for a ‘Sunday lunch’ had half a roast chicken with veg.
Reason I mention it was it was £12 =8O and tasted pretty bland & poor quality.0 -
Quorn burger in a brioche bun with the last of the sweet potato fries for me...there's an awful lot of food I'll now be needing to use up that OH will no longer be eating, plus a few bits of things I won't eat that can go to the local food bank.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
