We went out for a walk around a local reservoir, it was such a lovely day.
We thought about going to a local pub for dinner but popped into m and s on the way home and bought a few bits, so bread, olives, coleslaw, tomatoes, scampi and a couple of salads reduced to 30p. I also bought two reduced trifles for 25p.
It was really nice eaten in the garden.0 -
We had a curry from the freezer, biryani, Dahl, chicken balti and some onion bagees.
Piece of bland carrot cake for afterwards ( not sure where I went wrong, usual recipe but not as nice as usual)
Absolutely loving the bank holiday weekend.0 -
Is nobody else eating?
We went out for the day, when we got home we were starving and I couldn't think what to make, took some inspiration from a well known italian chain beginning with z.
We had salmon, with a warm salad of jersey potatoes, artichokes from a jar, green beans, tenderstem broccoli, baby tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, rocket and pine nuts. Quick and easy and better than the other version I had the other week in the restaurant.0 -
