Think tonight is posh pizza (+£3 from L!dl ) still cheaper than a D0minoes - although can honestly say it's years since I had once of those for an office lunch, and I couldn't tell you the last time I actually bought one.

That means tomorrow I think will be vegetable lasagne (because I really want to use it from the freezer) although that could be Sunday - depends on OH.

Hubby wasn't in the mood for a big dinner tonight so I made us a burger each, beef mince and bread buns from the freezer with some salad and asda burger sauce - lovely. He's now sitting there nursing a cold whilst I enjoy a bottle of white

Lidl is fantastic for pizzas I think, much better quality than the big 4 IMO

Just had sausages, Yorkshire puds, green veg, fried onions (with a splash of balsamic) and gravy. Bangers, puds and veg all from freezer.

    T'was yummy!

OH had a chip butty with fresh crusty bread earlier while I had a nap so there was no chance of me making him eat any veg :rotfl:

I made seafood pancakes for us tonight, using basa fillets and prawns from Aldi, diced onion, mushroom and red pepper, a handful of peas and a bit of spinach which needed using up; all in a nice creamy sauce, rolled up in a home made pancake and oven baked. Lovely!

Im just back from a holiday in sunny Spain. So was hoping my cooking mojo had returned it hadn't so we had a curry ready meal, husband had fish curry and I had a quorn curry. Not a patch on the food whilst we were away. I will try to make something better tomorrow, however as I'm due back at work on Monday I'm not sure I will be in the mood.
  • Chicken Drumsticks with Baby Pots and Salad for us this evening - didn't realise how many drummers we had in the freezer ;)! Might 'spice' the drumsticks up a bit with some paprika/garlic powder/cayenne pepper :).

Made a load of vegetable soup for work lunches, this also had some leftover veg from dinner added to it.
For dinner I made roast pork, roast chicken, stuffing, yorkshire puddings, spring greens, carrots, peas, red cabbage, roast potatoes and roast parsnips.

I made a slow cooker rice pudding for afterwards.

meat eaters had teriyaki beef stir-fry. I had salmon with the stir-fry veg, baby corn, onions, tenderstem broccoli, Pak choi, mange tout, noodles and some stir-fry sauce. It was quick and easy. But two hours later we were all hungry again!
