Nana's Magic Soup (from the freezer stocks) followed by Chicken Sandwiches for us this evening - this will finish off the whoopsied chicken from Saturday's trip to MrT's :drool:.
Managed to get good sized Roast Chicken Dinner for 2 on Saturday evening using Drumstick/thigh each; Sweet Chilli and Garlic Chicken Stir-Fry for 2 yesterday afternoon using 1 Chicken Breast and a wing each; other Breast for tonight's Sandwiches :j. Not bad for £2.50 :T. Carcass will go into freezer for stock-making when I've got a couple more :j.0 -
We've been away for the weekend, did the Golden Arrow on the Bluebell Railway - loved it, great food, stunning carriages and lovely staff.
Back to reality now, DH having local made pork, sage and apple pie with mash, I'm having a cheese omelette and over ate all weekend - worth it thoughNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Been away with work across the pond for a few days and possibly ate my way through the trip (did include my fav of lobster tails though :drool:)
Unfortunately the joys of airports and planes have left me with a poorly feeling throat so beans on toast for me tonight. Has been feeling iffy on and off since Sat - glands swollen. So long as it doesn't turn into anything more I will be happy.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I made cabbage rolls tonight, stuffed with rice, minced lamb, pine nuts, apricots, cumin, coriander, cayenne and black pepper then poached in chopped tinned tomato, chicken stock and lots of garlic cloves. It was nice, and there is enough for us to have more of the same tomorrow night.0

Lidls southern fried chicken with jacket spuds and salt
For those of us whole love a bit of KFC but worry about the salt and fat content ( as well as the price), this is really really good. Much better then ( imo) Tescos or Sainsburys or even M&S0
