I made cabbage rolls tonight, stuffed with rice, minced lamb, pine nuts, apricots, cumin, coriander, cayenne and black pepper then poached in chopped tinned tomato, chicken stock and lots of garlic cloves. It was nice, and there is enough for us to have more of the same tomorrow night.

Well there wouldn't be enough if you sent me the left overs :)

    That sounds really good

I was going to do OH a Quorn pie with chips / beans but he opted for mac n cheese instead.

I had a honey glazed pork chop with sweet and white potato mash LO from a shepherless pie, and some petit pois - all liberated from the freezer.

Found a sachet of rice with vegetables lurking in the cupboard so we will share it this evening with the last of the current batch of veg curry for dh and chickpea chilli for me.

Glorious day here so the batch of veg stew I made earlier will do for tomorrow when it will be rather cooler.

After last night's rather large evening meal, we're on Omelet for tonight .................. with Oven Chips for OH and Salad for me ;)!

Bought some leeks today in Aldi - OH is muttering about there being no 'Leek and Potato Soup' in the freezer - already got plenty of potatoes/onions/celery in. I reckon I can prep them during Emmerdale/Corrie tonight and then get them cooked up in the Pressure Cooker while I'm watching something else later - job's a good 'un ;) :rotfl:.

Must be something in the air as I'm making yorkies to have with some beef and guinness casserole...although upon last inspection the yorkies were more like pancakes :(
