OH had a major grump about one of the recipes in the Tesco magazine where they say to make cassolet with lentils (!!) and carrots (no!!!) and mushrooms (NO!!!!!!). So after much grumbling when I asked what we were having for dinner he suggested sausages and lentils. Fine by me - so Toulouse sausages, belly pork and lentils purchased on my way home. Didn't know if he wanted the green or brown lentils so I bought both - either way they'll get used up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. trying to use up freezer bits throughout this week ready for defrosting at the weekend1 -
Went to the local Aldi a couple of days back to discover that their fridges had mostly all stopped working. So almost everything was yellow stickered. Picked up a nice looking pork roast with crackling which got cooked up yesterday but less than half used. So last night while it was part of a full roast dinner tonight it will be featured in sandwiches.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
