Husband's course was moved to a different venue last minute so no trip to Epsom's Lidl. He's on the motorway and will be calling in at the biggest of our two local Lidl's later. If they don't have much Greek stuff he will get kebabs.
@ruby_eskimo I like your footnote. Ours would read met in a snowy field, didn't meet again for eight years, got engaged in a layby on the A3, rented a house three months later, married following year, bought house four years later, house still not completely renovated...1 -

Tonight I’ve made a potato, mushroom and spinach curry to use up the last bits left in the fridge before I do a big shop tomorrow.1 -
Have got a Turkey breast joint in the oven at the moment. We called into Mr M's just as they were doing the reductions. It cost £1.37 down from £13.45!!!!! Also got 4 packs of King Prawns for 85p each and a pack of smoked Haddock for £1.15. Now for the maddening game of freezer tetris!"Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718

Husband is sourcing tonight’s dinner 😊
Filled the freezer with local meat today, 4 x veal steaks, 1kg thin cut steak, 1kg diced mutton, 4 x corn fed chicken supreme, 1 whole corn fed chicken, 1 kg minced beef, 1 kg chicken thighs, 4 x sirloin and 1kg rump steak. All split and vac packed into portions. Really wanted some goat, but they didn’t have any in 😢
Friend also dropped of some mackerel which was cleaned and frozen too.
Looking forward to Wiener Schnitzel soon 🙌Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
