Just found out that I'm doing meatballs & mushrooms in tomato sauce on tube type pasta. That's fine."Never retract, never explain, never apologise; get things done and let them howl.”0

Did chicken on the bbq last night which I managed to cook properly - had it a bit under done a few times in the past which the OH objects to. Not sure why as I haven't managed to kill him yet!
Tonight it will be burgers on the bbq and tomorrow will be the YS pork loin roast going out there again.
Burgers have some brioche buns but still trying to decide what to have with the pork tomorrow. There's some dauphoinaise taters in the fridge that can go in the oven and a couple of courgettes that can also go on the bbq with the pork. Or something elaborate that the OH will think up no doubt."Never retract, never explain, never apologise; get things done and let them howl.”1 -
Out for a fair well lunch today, our youngest DiL is off for a year as lead entertainer on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. So happy and sad 🫣Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Roast chicken dinner for us tonight, with roasties, Yorkies, carrots, broccoli and a few pigs in blankets frozen at Christmas. Hoping to stretch the remaining chicken meat to make chicken fajitas tomorrow, chicken and mushroom chow mein for Tuesday, maybe even a chicken salad sandwich or two and of course turn the carcass into stock for this week’s soups.1
