Lazy dinner tonight, chicken burger on linseed roll for me, sourdough for him, with halloumi air fried fries.

I want to get some spring cleaning started, beginning with a proper scrub of the skirting boards, due to this wet weather and Frank, I could grow spuds on the hallway ones 🫣

A nice simple curry, rice and naan bread. All ingredients are from the freezer and rice in a microwave pouch. That’ll do nicely.

we have lamb neck for one dinner this weekend, possibly tonight.  Inspired by OH spotting how lovely the rosemary is looking in the front garden.

Roasted red peppers stuffed with minced beef, rice, courgette, mushrooms and cheese.

I’ve had a mammoth cooking session this morning and have prepped lots of things for this week’s meals, thus I am feeling v smug 🤣🤣

Happy Mother’s Day to those that celebrate 🍾 big hugs to those who have a hard time today 😘

DD is coming over for lunch, just a basic roast chicken dinner with HM apple pie and custard for those who want it.

had cards from the kids and GS, Noah, but also one from my DIL who doesn’t have the best relationship with her own mum, the message made me well up, she’s such a love 🥰 xx

Ended up with teriyaki beef last night as I’d forgotten to take the lamb sausages out of the freezer, so lamb risoni will be tonight instead
