So OH didn't go out for cheese (or cigars) but did go out to get some fish and chips. Which was nice.
Tonight I'll be firing up the weber to do some burgers. One bun for mine with salad. OH will have 2 buns with lettuce and a big sliced tomato - I hope it's ripe enough, they are starting to look pretty pasty being so late in the year. Must go see if we still have any bernaise in the fridge, otherwise i'll be using mayo on it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I threw some onions, garlic, courgettes, red pepper and olive oil into my slow cooker and added some red lentils and a carton of passata plus some white miso, urfa chilli paste and water and left it cooking while I was out this afternoon. I bought a roll at M&S on the way home and really enjoyed coming home to a hot meal after such a chilly day.
I baked these Good Housekeeping Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies this morning using some Mother Africa smooth peanut butter that I bought when it was on offer over the summer and they were a great success with my friends. I always use Free & Easy egg replacer to make them vegan which never seems to affect the taste.
This is the first dozen cooling while the second tray was still in the oven. I got 22 biscuits from today's mixture.2 -
