There's one portion of lentils and sausage left which is in the fridge - we should have a "soup night" soon so that will do me while OH has a tin of something Heinz. Besides it turned out that the second batch of sausages he put in were out of the freezer and were something chorizo-ish. Which he's not fond of but I love. So win-win!!
Tonight he's promised seafood risotto. We shall see. We had 4 large white buns in our TGTG package from the bakery, so it’s hamburgers
with all the trimmings. I had to buy the ground beef, and will teach dds how to make that into hamburgers. Husband received a free hamburger press with an order a few years ago and I’ve been using it about twice a year. The ready-made frozen hamburgers from the supermarket are no longer edible to us. I had YS mushroom arancini which I bought from M&S a few days ago, oddly they didn't seem to contain any rice but were otherwise quite tasty, eaten with salad, home-made vinaigrette and a treat beer.2
