Tray bake here, I seem to have loads of baby tomatoes. So they can go in with, potatoes, red onions, courgettes and peppers.
Husband and daughter will have chicken and chorizo and my tray will have a tuna steak.

We'd agreed last night after having soup (OH only) and cheese and pickle baguettes (both) that tonight we should have pizza.

which of course means that OH has gone out and bought all the makings for seafood pasta.  Meal planning is always so full of surprises!!!

Well, today was deemed a boozy day out with friends in Cowes for a bit of a catch up, don’t know why but Wednesday of cowes week is traditionally ‘locals day’ it’s amazing who you meet there - however, the weather gods have sent us storm and flood warnings and many of our fold have opted out, OH and his buddy are going to brave it, I’m going to snuggle up with Frank and the cats and watch rubbish films…

off to collect the grocery shop in a bit, might have to top it up with a bottle of vino de plonk and some nibbles for said film watching 😆

Dogs and beer.  (for clarity, hot dogs on buns with coleslaw on the side, we got some Heineken and Bud in the fridge)

Fresh brown trout, caught from a lake and chalk stream where a customer has fishing rights, gutted riverside and currently in the car on ice, although I did get rained on! Tenderstem broccoli and asparagus on the side, with hollandaise, the trout cooked with a splash of lemon and dill.

What time is dinner?  Shall I bring some wine to share??

They are a great customer and bits like that make them even better, the trout was lovely and it is easy to cook the veg and knock up the sauce, the white from the eggs went in with my scrambled eggs this morning so nothing wasted. No wine at the moment, I am losing two stone in two months, so no booze, no carbs, 10km a day minimum. That means that making really nice, but healthy food is my current outlet.

Tonight is this, I am getting home early today so I have the time for the slow cooking, easy enough, just a long cooking time.
