As both kids had hot lunches and the sun is out, I’ve ditched the chicken curry in favour of CBLT on a sourdough baguette with salad. I bought an air fryer a few weeks ago and have just cooked some really juicy chicken breasts in it, only took 10 minutes which will be a game changer for me.DH is out at a pub quiz, I’m going to have some chicken with roasted veg later if I get hungry.Books read 2023 - 49/753

Tonight is going to be plant based Katsu Kiev's (Kyev's?) found in the freezer (it's like Narnia in there atm). With beans (I think) and alphabites for OH (I know - don't say it - but in his defense, they are moreish) and some LO rice for me which will use that up nicely.
Had an Olio sarnie for lunch today - chicken and feta greek style...well I hope the bread was supposed to be green and I'm glad I didn't pay for it because it wasn't nice.
UPDATE the katsu plant kievs (ys from Asda) were very nice, i worried that they might have been a little dry but not at all. Bit of a kick to them too. Deff on the 'would have again' list.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I love how perfect your life always seems, all that fun and frolics with your grandchildren. When my grandchildren (just five, and nearly 3) come to visit, it's like a couple of tiny human hurricanes sweeping through the house. At least when the six week old one comes over, all she does is sleep!Islandmaid said:DIL’s birthday today, so we’re off for some fun and adventures with GS in tow, with a spot of brunch.
Dinner tonight will be the last of that sweet-potato-plus-other-veg Wellington thing I made the other day. It was delish.3 -
Crumbed pork chop, chips and beans. Apple pie and custard.4
