Pork belly marinating with garlic and to be roasted with rosemary (no thyme in the garden yet which I need to sort....)

To be served with new potatoes and (I think) peas and/or corn.

I had a lot of roasted veg left from Thursday night, so made a tart with mozzarella for daughter and I. Husband had the rest of the pastry on top of a steak and kidney mix from the freezer.
Served with green beans, peas and carrots and baby potatoes.
Quick and easy for a Sunday.

Sausages and mash tonight, with a fishcake for the non-sausage eater and Yorkshire puddings for the non-mash eater 🙄😬 Served with kale, broccoli and plenty of gravy.

Made a bread and butter pudding for pudding whilst the oven was on, half left for tomorrow.

I had spiced mung beans with minted yoghurt and roasted savoy cabbage to be followed by feta and a cracker or two and a coffee.

P.S. In case anyone finds this useful I spotted this recipe which includes a vegan bechamel earlier today Ixta Belfrage’s vegan recipe for curried caramelised onion galette | Food | The Guardian The method for the bechamel is simply to put all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth which seems delightfully straightforward to me so I thought I'd draw attention to it here.
