@C_J thanks for that. Annoyingly I have white rum...but I'm thinking pina colada vibes....
Dinner tonight was a portion of lamb casserole from the freezer, end of some sprouts I'd par boiled a while ago with some petit pois and last two Yorkshire puddings that were in the freezer too.
I seem to have a lot of ingredients in the freezer atm, must make an effort to make those into something. Also going to need to make more stock as i have a chicken roasting in for mog and several carcasses in the freezer already.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We had mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, tender stem broccoli, and pie, husband had steak pie and I made a concoction from mushroom, vegan quorn and vegan cream cheese. It was ok. I will be happy when January is over and I will revert back to just vegetarian I'm only doing vegan as daughter is doing veganuary.2

OH is being radical and has proposed fish (as in battered) with mash. But also got scampi so we might do fish & scampi & mash. I had intended salad with mine either way but I do love mash.....(don't tell the weight loss board)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Old favourite beef bolognese tonight, I've used up some bits and pieces from freezer in it, half a chopped onion, some mushrooms, spinach and grated carrot, plus the end of the bottle of red wine I have in for cooking. Will do with some spaghetti and garlic bread.

I made a huge bolognaise pasta bake last night so we’re having the rest of that (not convinced pasta bake freezes well) - yesterday with veg, tonight with garlic bread and salad.Books read 2023 - 49/752
