I too found Together Energy to be hopeless: "together" for themselves, useless for customers. They completely messed up the OneSelect transfer and have since been "changing their IT system", leaving me out of pocket with no refund for the overpayments I made. They are a disgrace and should be closed down.1

I am in receipt of a letter in which Together Energy informed me that it was passing my account over to Resolvecall. This came as a surprise to me as I have never received any billings from it let alone a final account although they obviously know my postal and email addresses.
When Look After My Bills told me it was switching my supply to Together Energy I told them I was not impressed with what I had heard about Together Energy and said to cancel any arrangement they had with it. They confirmed that the switch had been cancelled - BUT IT HAD NOT.
I asked the company then supplying me that I did not wish to leave them for Together Energy and they said they would continue my supply - BUT THEY DID NOT.
I emailed Together Energy to say that I had cancelled any switch - BUT THEY SWITCHED ME ANYWAY.
I hold many contradictory emails from Together Energy before the switch, setting up and cancelling direct debits of varying amounts. I even have one from them during the time it supplied me that specifically states that I “never came on supply with Together Energy”.
The only time Together Energy ever told me my account number was in the letter stating I have been passed over to debt collectors.
Together Energy have never asked my bank for any payments or sent me any accounts - not even a final one. I have always paid every bill that I have ever received. HOW DID IT EXPECT ME TO KNOW HOW MUCH I OWED THEM?
If it was a local man on a bike selling logs it would be an embarrassment - as a national supplier of electricity it is a disgrace.

Dreadful company! Look after my bills switched us in January and TE have yet to send me a bill. I've been chasing them since April, put in a formal complaint on 22nd June and, despite their SLA being that I would be contacted within 10 days, I have heard nothing. Trying to chase them now and all I get is an answering service who promise a call back within 48 hours - guess what? Silence....
Currently wondering whether I should cancel my DD to see if that gets their interest?0 -
Many people in your position have given up with TE and just switched to another supplier that have a WORKING billing system!!0

I have to agree with all the negative comments regarding 'Together Energy' except on the infrequent occasions I managed to get through to them on the phone; the staff were amenable and sounded willing to help; also willing to tell me the company was in a sound financial state of affairs and would not go out of business!!! well, well,well! - shame their words did not translate into action. I have and outstanding complaint from early December last year no record of it on Portal not acted upon either - despite keeping my portal meter readings in good order and sending photographs to illustrate I don't tell 'Porkie Pies'. Well people I cancelled my direct debit 14th December '21over £500 in credit; telling them by email I would re-instate it when my complaint was dealt with. Haha the rest is history, no response, no resolution, no company. Happy New Year and Happy New 'Tiger' Year Grrrrrrr! anyway at least Manchester City keep doing me proud.0
