TG are hugely frustrating. I joined them in 2017 and they were great. Customer service was lovely, online portal worked well and all was good..!
Then I left them... and joined OneSelect, one month later OneSelect went under and TG took them over.. Everything then went to hell!
Customer service were impossible.to get through to, my online account didn't work and they totally screwed up my final bills for both OS and TG.
I have since left them again.. and 6 months later Ive got an on going saga with them trying to sort out all the final bills and actually get money owed to me, but they keep paying me too much and I now owe them money...! !

And it isn't improving - took them 9 months and a complaint to the Ombudsman to tell me that they couldn't correct the incorrect OS bill because (altho they produced it!) they can't be held responsible for OS failings!
They then have totally mucked up my final bill resulting in me now being owed money rather than owing them and added on £50 compo!!
You couldn't make it up:rotfl:0 -
After being transferred to Together Energy I received a bill but had to badger them to produce any more bills after that, even though they were receiving direct debit payments from me. They eventually started producing my bills, but by then I had lost confidence in the company and transferred to another company 3 months ago. The final bill was incorrect and they owe me about £200 and despite them admitting to this mistake they’ve not refunded the money. The Ombudsman is my next step, but I should not have to resort to this as they admitted the mistake over 2 months ago. I see that many others have had similar problems, so my advice is AVOID THIS COMPANY.0

Their Trustpilot review makes interesting reading. Mainly all one star except for a bod (Walter) who occasionally drops in to give them a five star0

Don't have anything good to say about this company.
We were transferred to them from One Select, so it wasn't our choice. Their blurb looks good - they will continue your direct debit (they didn't), will email you to remind you to read your meter (they don't). I chased up the direct debit but had no response, finally got a response to say they had set it up again - they hadn't. Emailed again they hadn't done but have now.
The amount I owed was gradually creeping up, but I wasn't too concerned as their blurb says they automatically review your account in the summer and adjust your direct debit (they didn't).
I've emailed them several times as I now owe over £1k (there are no details on your bill to allow you to make additional payments) and have eventually had an email that they are going to raise my direct debits to £250 from £85. Seems a bit high as I will have paid it all off in 5 months, there was no communication to ask if I could afford it. Am going to let it run, then when paid off will switch elsewhere.
Final moan, last bill didn't show the direct debit paid. Have emailed them but not heard back. I sent a meter reading (they have issued a new bill to replace their estimates) but they still haven't included my direct debit payment.
I will try calling them while I'm off over Xmas, but would say they are definitely one to avoid.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Stay away!
Electricity only and paper billing plan: Every month I submit my meter reading by phone then request my paper bill. Despite assurances after at least 40 minutes on the phone, it never materialises. Will change as soon as plan ends.0 -
I'd given them my bank details twice in November ,so that they could refund the supposed credit I have on my closed account.
Absolutely nothing received!! Since I actually owe them by my calculations, I've abandoned the chase!!0 -
One year 9 months and totally appaling supplier. Deeply regret signing up and leaving them was almost impossible.the CEO sent a personal to all c ustomers apologising for their poor service. Left them in November and they have never sent me a n actual final invoice. 7th feb i had three different invoices and all different with estimates not actual consumption. On hold on the phone for customer service in january for one hour a nd more and gave up. Still no solution🤔😑0

I created a spreadsheet to calculate what I owed them as their estimates were so random. Calculated I owed £20-30 when I left. 2 months later received an email telling me I left owing £212, I told them where they could go0

Left Together energy in March as they did not send bills, reply to ANY communication and took far too much on my DD. I am STILL waiting for my closure account and payment of refund of overpayment to my account. Do NOT sign up with them0
