It is very easy to cancel an existing reservation online. If you find a better rate just make sure to book the better rate before you cancel your old reservation.

Impression I got is that they dont like you doing that, and you could just ring up and they will reduce it there and then?

Sure, you can also call and they adjust the rate for you.

Who doesn't like it? These are huge corporations who wont notice that someone has cancelled a rate and rebooked..

Just from reading around on the net. But point taken.

What dates are you looking at going? If you sign up with total rewards they were offering comp rooms on random dates even if you hadn't played before

Some very good Black Friday offers can be found here: https://vegas-hotels-online.com/category/cyber-monday/

For example: Bellagio from $99, MGM Grand from $35, Luxor from $19. Depending on the length of the stay (two to five nights) you will receive a food and beverage credit (up to $300).

The TR free rooms were for the likes of Linq and Rio, similarly Mlife had a similar deal for comp rooms for Luxor and Excalibur on certain dates. Both those offers were ideal if you just wanted a room on the strip. If you want a more desirable property then it is worth signing up and check regularly on the web sites. The thing about MLife is that they don't seem to send email offers to members in the UK whereas I get emails for TR.

Offers like the Black Friday deal linked above occur numerous times a year especially with MLife. As a comparison I booked 4 nights at Delano in June, arriving mid Dec. That includes $240 resort credit and the discounted nightly rate.

I have been playing around with numerous bookings for our forthcoming trip inc MyVegas free nights at Bellagio, comp nights with Mlife and the Delano booking. At least 2 of the bookings have already been cancelled but the Delano deal has yet to be beaten when I have checked.

    hey guys,
I had a deal, that wasn't shown as a deal, but worked out to be a deal ! :D:D

Havent stayed at Caesars group hotels yet, but I signed up for the TR card in September, and played some play in the RIO for 2 hours, then put in 2 hours blackjack at Paris....

I am Plat on Mlife, so I did the Tier match thing, but that stays valid only until January, unless I made over 5000 tier credits...
For my short play, I made 237 tier credits with TR...….
So come January, I will drop back to the standard level I think with TR...….

however, when I log into my account, it shows me an offer for the Linq for 2 nights comp until end of Feb.... (probably similar to what stevie wrote)….

Anyway, so yesterday, thought I would play around with some dates to see if it showed some discounted rooms for any of the Caesars group hotels.....

I put in 5 nights, for May/June, click Search..
BOOOOOM ! it shows me all there hotels in Vegas, Except Paris ?? all hotels, $0.00 !!!!! , I put weekend dates in, all $0.00 !
    Nice surprise!
In the end, I settled on 4 nights (in between using Mlife hotels as we have 11 nights in LV next year)…
4 Nights in Caesars Palace for $0.00 inc comp resort fee! All booked in ! :D (even when my status drops to standard, I was told the room will stay full comp). Only a standard room in CP, so will have to bust a move to talk our way into a room upgrade!

I got the other 7 nights comp'd anyway in any MGM hotel, just a case of deciding which 2 to use this year! not stayed in the Excal or Bell, so might give those ago!

Not wishing the time away, but already looking forward to another LV trip !!! :D:D:D
  • Stuie did they confirm on the phone that the resort fees are comp if you book now for next year? I'm diamond too but will drop down in January and like you have booked a room for April. If so that would be good news..
