I'm not a cash person and use my cc everywhere. This actually becomes a problem as the smaller (and more bargainaceous) chazzers only take cash - which necessitates a trip to the cashpoint from me in advance. Flexibility is the key.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.4 -

I think they will look good with jeans.I'd have snapped those up at £10.00.As well as jeans, try leggings/jeggings and also pinafore dresses and thick tights (although I'm only a size 3 so my shoes don't look big).Moshulu is good quality.4

Called in to a Help The Aged I'd never tried before and it was very nice. Lots of notices on window and door about wearing a mask, keeping your distance and max. 8 customers in shop and then sanitise on entrance and exit plus please follow one way arrows taped onto floor. That took you right round the perimeter and all four rail units and then back to either pay or leave. There were also screens at the till with notices saying that there was no trying on but if you left the tags on the items you could return them for a refund within 3 weeks of purchase and they would be quarantined for 72 hours.
Anyhow I snapped up two of these for the grand total of £3.98, they're lovely and heavy and will do for muffins as well as yorkshires when I feel like baking again.
I almost fell for a Cos top which was surprisingly normal looking but it wasn't quite my colour so I left it on the grounds that I've got lots of things that are like that and I'm trying to offload those not add to them, goldfinches.

a Stuart MacBride crime novel (hardback), Code Book by Simon Singh (paperback), and Still Game Christmas Special DVD, all for 60p. Sense. The DVD will go in someone's Christmas box.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.6

I have a little nest of cs acquired silk ties, which when the lads need a tie I lend from. Some are More often borrowed (the solid plain colours) but my elephant print for luck was worn by eldest (who did get the job) and I captured it back. Most mothers days I plead for a photo of them looking smart & most mothers days (& birthdays, & Christmases) I end up without. Whatever happened to my snappy dresser of 7? He's now the apprentice & wears his issue polo & slacks & changes back into T shirt & scruffs... Their Prom photos are ageing (& the wedding photo likewise), but to convince them I'm serious might mean me having to source a frock - Eeep!6

I've broken my charity shop post-lockdown duck and actually bought something. It's a Cath Kidston fabric bag in a denim blue with pink birds & pink flowers on, a beige strap and brown leather fixings/trim.Cost £5.00 from the hospice shop and is in pretty good condition, not dirty, although it has what looks like a few biro marks on the inside lining at the bottom (which I'm not bothered about). My dilemma:I like to wash things I've bought from the charity shop, either on a silk/delicate was or hand wash. The label says:100% teflon coated cotton (excluding trim)100% cotton liningLeather trimsSpot clean with a damp cloth. What would you do?5
