That dress would be even lovlier if in natural fibres.

My Autistic family have sensory issues around man-made fibres saying "It would be like wearing a plastic bag" - Not as absorbent as natural fibres.

I think my chazzing days are numbered as can find, what you want more easily, on ebay.

But does eBay give you that same thrill?

I managed to get a new fatface checked scarf for £6 in town centre hospice shop. Very happy with it, its very soft and costs £29.99 on their site.

Also got an Evie grey roll neck jumper for £2, very useful in the cold weather.

I think you have to treat charity shopping as serendipity.
If you find something you like/love, that's great.
Charity shops aren't the right place to go looking for a size 10 100% cotton dress with pink and purple spots - although it sometimes works out that you stumble upon something that you have been after for a while.

I do think there are less natural fabrics being used though.

Yes, you can usually add at least £2.95 (small parcel 2nd class) onto any purchase you make, although there are some small items that I can send large letter which makes them cheaper. I usually do free postage on these and factor the postage costs into the starting price.
  • I didn't buy, but the local hospice shop needs to pay attention to their pricing:
    Primark nylon coat £5
Scott Origeenal flight jacket £5 - I thought from the mis-spelling it was a fake, but a quick search suggests it might be an original brand
"Shearlings" brand sheepskin coat £5. Can't find the brand online, but a USA shearling coat is $1000+

I'm now wondering if I should go back with Ebay in my evil mind...

Pollycat - when you send your £2.95 parcels have you factored in that ebay charge you 10% on postage charges too so you really need to charge £3.45 to cover that cost.

    Shearling isn't a brand, it's sheepskin.
