Pretty sure it was a Villeroy & Bosch teapot on sale on Tuesday- selling at £25. (Make ( it was clearly labelled) & price made me aware!)
Not my thing at all.
Now a Christmas ornament would have been a different story.........Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

If any Crafters that own a die cutting machine live in Ormskirk, the Queenscourt Hospice shop are selling some Sizzix Sizzlits dies for 50p each.
I bought some yesterday afternoon, so hopefully there should still be some left. (Drat, just thought, they were in a Sizzlits plastic box, I should have asked if they'd sell me the plastic box.)
The Hospice shop is in the passageway near the main shopping carpark and Wetherspoons. The dies were on shelves at the left hand side of the shop.0 -
<pops up>Someone mentioned Denby? £15?! The Acquisition Committee would need smelling salts.
Miro, the dress has you by the imagination - go & try it on. If it still entrances, and there are no little flaws to coax a discount, well it Is Christmas.
Which is shockingly not MS At All but sometimes you should let your heart lead - largely as any subsequent regrets stick with you.0 -
Yesterday I picked up a lovely chunky cardigan by M&S Indigo, navy blue with wood effect buttons, wool blend, it is very, very similar to one I have been looking at for a while from one of my favourite ethical retailers - £3.99. Also got a Next cropped cardigan, one chunky button, chunky knit, 3/4 sleeves which are slightly flared, in brown, beige and duck egg blue on the sale rail at £1.99.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I did just that today and it took some determination as it was 0 degrees outside and blooming' freezing in the changing room. Perfect fit tho...so I splurged and paid the full chazza priceWhat pushed me into it was getting a last minute invite to a fund raising dinner next Saturday for our local hospice. Invite instructions are 'lounge suits for men & cocktail wear for ladies' so 'the dress' will be perfect. Such a coincidence - must have been fate!! Anyhoo....no further expenditure will be required, (apart from a donation no doubt!!), as I have all the other necessary accoutrements which have been gathered up at silly prices from the chazzas in the past.

A long sleeved black t shirt for son1 today. He tells me it is a really expensive make for skaters; I think it has a nice rainbow coloured design. Would be £40 to buy but £2.99 today brand new.

Yes I am glad somebody else has noticed. It's probably the ratios they are manufactured in. I think ideally I would be a size 12. Then I would have more choice in the chazzer.0 -

Occasionally the local CRUK has a rail of larger sizes all donated by people from a slimming group.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
