traffic seemed to be flowing quite good going out of the city

completely forgot to post haha, but yeah they are gone again,

im sure they will do the resurfacing at a weekend like they usually do

There's no more resurfacing to do - it was all done that weekend of the massive queues! Although, it is still a hash. The bumps in that section they did resurface are terrible, while the inner lanes that they didn't do are much better! I can't believe that they will get away with leaving a surface like that on a Motorway, especially when it's just new.

the city bound surface is perfect, the country bound lane is !!!!, i think its because they did the city bound all at once but country bound 2 lanes where done seperate from the last one
  • Yeah its great going down the motorway as far greencastle, then its chok-a-blok! Surely yhey could have predicted this, they must have a plan?

Had a lovely drive up to Antrim on it today, but noticed (along with the Westlink improvement) that with all these 3 -lane motorways we're being infected by that horrible disease from GB - middle lane hogs! MOVE LEFT! And relax...

I agree! And it leaves you with the option of either moving over 2 lanes just to overtake them or taking the risk of undertaking them.
The other problem we have here that GB doesnt seem to have so much is the ability to not indicate at all on roundabouts. Drives me nuts especially when you are trying to get onto one.
Anyway nice to see the cones removed! And if the middle lane hogs start bothering you just think back to the times of no middle lane!

The outside lane city bound is !!!! too!. You bounce around all over the place! And don't think all the city bound lanes have been done either. It's only really a patch up job until the whole thing needs re-done in about 5-10 years.

    hate those bas****'s

was in front of one this morning she just sat in the middle lane good stretch of road in front of her, so had to build up my speed fast enough to get into the outside lane without some car flying into the back of me to overtake the idiot with her sunglasses on
