Woo, I did proper vacuuming yesterday - not as much as I needed, but lots.  Very pleased.  Also cleaned two bags that needed it, put shoes away, bagged up electronic waste, which can be recycled if you put it alongside waste bin, and roasted used eggshells for use in the garden later.

Asda delivery this afternoon, in one of the £1 delivery slots - they *still* don't have any strepsils!  I mean, really.  I'm going to have to load up with various bits at Amazon or Boots.  Bought *lots* of eggs - making these microwave sponges is a great way to use them and the flour but it means I need more 🤣 which I'm not at all averse to.

    So, today:
    - renaming the pix for my Space Group meeting tomorrow, and sending them to head honcho, I can't put them up for the group on my phone, so he'll have to do it from his computer.
    - one last email to my MP, the reek of hypocrisy from her email to me made me wake up angry this morning.  No further correspondence from me, its a waste of my energy.
    - get a flu jab appointment, they texted me at the end of last week.
    - send remaining pix of the baby to family WhatsApp group.
    - cook dried beans that I soaked overnight.
    - clean the shopping when it gets delivered.

    That'll do!

Done.  Started sending the pix to Head Honcho via email, and got distracted, then he suggested I use a dropbox file.  Never used it in my life!  And now I have - I joined, uploaded 19 photos to a "Space" file, and put it into sharing mode, with the two other group members.  Astonishing.  Absolutely shattered me, but happy with what I've done.

    Done.  That's that.

    - get a flu jab appointment, they texted me at the end of last week.
Done - I was plonked in the middle of the appointments, and freaked out slightly.  Lovely receptionist altered the time to the very end, when there'll be no queue behind me, meaning an emptier room.

    - send remaining pix of the baby to family WhatsApp group.
Not yet, because of the Space Group faffing.

    - cook dried beans that I soaked overnight.
Done - I might start to put these on an alarm, these are black beans and green lentils, and they're a tad overcooked.

    - clean the shopping when it gets delivered.
    Not yet, see below :)

Better than I thought, except for Asda - the poor delivery driver has had a family emergency, so a management guy has gone out to cover the run.  They're estimating a delay of 2 hours 30 mins!  Lets hope it was a nice emergency like a baby's birth ...

Thanks for the flu jab reminder, I've finally booked it.  Nothing like having a convenient memory.

Slight diversion today: a two hour zoom meeting (divided into 3 x 35 minutes, to keep it free) for our Space Group - I gave my lava tubes presentation, went down well, all good.  Our Swedish outpost is supplying an adult toy next month 😛 a little rocket that scoots up into the air.  Should be fun :)

Asda delivery turned up on time yesterday, in the slot I originally booked - but I'd spent a long time faffing about with all the texts I received.  Half of it is washed, but between that, all the dropbox doings yesterday, and all that time on zoom this morning, I'm pretty wiped out.  I'd like to do something physical, and I may have a walk a bit later, but thats about it.

Thanks debtfree!  No further cleaning on the shopping, I'm quite tired, but I did manage to vacuum the stairs, which were disgusting 👀  And without any eggs for now, I've cooked Jamie Oliver's eggless chocolate cake, and used up some just-over-out-of-date coconut oil.  Checked it for rancidity, its fine.  I'd forgotten how much I like the recipe - also tweaked it for cocoa powder not "fine dark chocolate".  Good ingredients, and uses up the GF flour too.

Tidying up/decluttering continues apace.  A purchase from a couple of years ago - an Anker portable solar panel, which can recharge small products directly.  It says its 14 watts.  My smart phone is 15 watts.  My modern kindle is 9 watts.  But where on earth could I put it to recharge?  The mysteries of individual solar power in a time of drizzle ...

Happy Wheel is working well again - one of the "three free spins" games wouldn't load properly, but the current one is great, and two days has netted me £3.  Very happy with that.

I did an hour out in the garden over the weekend, in spite of the rain - I'm determined that next spring, I *will* be ready to plant stuff.  I see I wrote that in my previous post as well 🤣🤣🤣 you might say I'm a little bit obsessed about it 🤣

Flu jab was fine, at the very end of the session so almost empty.  I was also offered a pneumococcal vaccination, I'll take that up too.  Didn't do anything else on Saturday apart from showering and cleaning clothes afterward.

Today: nothing in the Happy Wheel/ YG/ PickMyPostcode/ QVC scan is of much use, so:
    - another hour in the garden, green bin is collected tomorrow.
    - washing machine on.
    - readying a couple of bits in the house for brilliant white paint: the plastic pot of it is huge, but its so old, its started to split.  Its in a plastic washbasin, so its safe, but I'd like to get some use out of it.  So there are no cute craft projects this week, or even lining curtains, which was the intention.  Painting bits of bare or single-coated plaster, lovely.  Not 🤣  Though it is MFW.
