It's not on their website, but this is the remaining mixed pack there: Green & Black's Organic Milk Chocolate Collection Chocolate Box | Waitrose & Partners

I've been taking care of finance admin:
1. French money has arrived in my English account, same day the currency firm sent it, very good!
2. The "rewards" bit of my bank account - £8 transferred into my current account. I fail to see how its a reward, when the charges are £2 a month, but at least it keeps me at zero. Bit pointless, though, maybe I should think about moving on.
3. My energy company sent me the £66 monthly from the government energy subsidy.
4. Amazon gave me a refund. Of 3p. I mean, why? It says its an automated credit, I have no idea.
5. I ordered the underlay insulation - 100% wood fibre - 2 sets of boards, extra wide tape to fit them together, delivery on Saturday before 6pm. Luckily TCB sent me an email naming Screwfix, and I'd already decided to go with them, so now I have 3% cashback. Previous total was £4.86, at least this order will take it over a fiver
ETA: ooh, they've contacted me already, total cashback is now £5.97. This is addictive 🤣
I'm now ready to fund the Saffron account, I'll do that tomorrow to make sure I don't make a mistake. And I'll see if I can close down a small isa (£3,700 in it) and transfer that to Saffron too, that will more than double the amount earned by that isa.
What else tomorrow?
- Saffron, first thing.
- Since the Screwfix delivery is Saturday, I need to work on the green bin tomorrow, Friday.
- The Range have finally got in touch with me, by email, I need to answer that: how many products were damaged, what were they, do I want refund or replacement. Considering they used the email where I sent pictures of the damage to reply to me, that's very odd. I'll give it a go, though. For a refund.
- my bank have just sent me a reminder about logging in to the app monthly gets me £1. Even if I eventually decide to move banks, thats an easy win for now. Will do that.
Otherwise, I've been a couple of walks, tidied up massively in case people needed to come in and use the loo (they did! win-win). Tomorrow, I really wanted to do the last coat of this paint, the tin is leaking quite badly now 🤣 but getting stuff in the green bin is more important.
My house will be liveable. It will! Maybe I should update my sig 😁2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Okay, I was on a bit of a roll
so I answered The Range email, very polite, as much detail as they asked for and no more, and I got myself onto the app for my bank. I think I may genuinely end up using it, it feels a lot easier than the website. That could get interesting.
Another item to add to tomorrow's list: U3A Online Learning, a lot of my interests are represented, and the region is having a bit of a crisis, so I need to put some time aside for a zoom meeting next Thursday - if it gets party political, I'll be out quicker than a dose of salts, but I like U3A, and I'd like to show up, on zoom, anyway.
Plus the local horticultural society membership - they don't do any zoom at all, and the meeting rooms are minute, I'm not going there, but I want to keep the contact.2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -

Could your amazon refund be something that you ordered at one price & was reduced by 3p before it was despatched?

Today, I haven't really started yet, I've been watching the Matt Baker thing on 4 OnlineI love it. But an updated list is needed:
- U3A Learning admin.
- U3A space group, I realised I never sent the summary thing about the lava tubes with actual *space* related links. Better do that before the next meeting.
- rejoin local horticultural society.
- start funding my new isa, check how best to do it.
- I sent off two birthday cards yesterday, need to send a couple more off today. I *may* try to use up some more of the old stamps that were bought for money, the commemorative sets 🤣 a few of them are still high enough value to get to the 2nd class amount of 65p to make it worthwhile 🤣
- choice of a walk (using abdominals)/ green bin work/ using up white paint in the office.2023: the year I get to buy a car3 -
You seem to be on a roll lately Karma - loads of progress over the last few days!
Definitely go for it using the old stamps - it just makes me think of Harry Potter when the envelope is quite covered in them!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

That's true, madvix, I *do* feel on a roll - and with no plans to go away right now, all that energy is going into the house (and garden a little bit
). Love the thought of the Harry Potter-looking envelope 🤣 I do try to use the highest value stamps, because it does look a little bit odd IRL 🤣 but today I did use an old 9p stamp, to take it to just over the 2nd class value. They look nice! And I realised in time that 2nd class is now 68p, not 65p.
Anyway, I posted them, had a bit of a walk, and, um, swept the most trafficked areas of the house - I've been careless recently about walking indoors in shoes that have been outside, and when its dry, I'm kind of okay with that. But there's actual **mud** falling off my shoes at the moment, and that's a bit much 🤣 All done now. Dishwasher's finished too, so I can cook some pasta and use the beans I slow-cooked yesterday for a sauce.
OMG, I'm in love with Saffron Building Society 🤣🤣🤣 I spoke to an adult, responsive human being, who knew exactly what the answers were to my questions. Only two tiny drawbacks, I have to send the funding by cheque, as only one payment in is allowed, and there are no transfers - I have a silly-tiny-get-rid-of-it amount in Newcastle BS, but that will have to wait for another day. Very, very pleased. I'll send it tomorrow, green bin awaits me.2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
Excellent work, and that sounds like a great result with the building society, well done!4
