I can't believe the energy amount is so low. We're now on £100+ pcm and we are very frugal users.

), glaciers, geysers, thermal power stations, Erik the Red's farm and settlement, Reykjavik cathedral. Blissful. I intended to have a set of 50 photos up on Flickr by now, but the day after we got back, I came down with covid, which is still fatiguing me a bit.

@Karmacat so sorry about the Covid. It's not a quick recovery - the cough and fatigue stayed with me for months.
Great that you had such a good time, it sounds so cool.3 -

I'm a bit snookered, its true - been out for a short local walk 4 days on the trot now, so that's something, and I've talked (conversed - I didn't do a lot of talking)
on the phone 3 times, the 3rd time was about 20 minutes, which was great.

Morning! I've been on my normal routine - walking, saying a few words to neighbours if I see them, trying to tidy, playing the Happy Wheel (about £1.20 won since I came home). Being a bit sad that Artemis couldn't take off, and using some time to do a report for my U3A spaceflight group on the lava tunnels - they're touted as being a viable location for a Mars base, and *possibly* for a lunar base, not sure about that. Good protection against solar radiation with no atmosphere
Anyway, today, probably not doing a walk because I'm doing so much in the house: changing and cleaning the bedding, an actual shower and shampoo for me; I'd like to do the sealant thing, which has got left behind in the urge to get better, but I doubt it will happen today either. Maybe tomorrow, after all the cleaning. I *do* want to send my sister what I owe her, then everything will be done and dusted and I can finalise my Net Worth figures, and it sets me up clear for September.
Normal service is about to be resumed! Covid definitely feels in the past, now its just about strengthening and recovering from having had to abandon everything. Yay, I'm back!2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
Glad to hear it Karma! There's definitely a turning of the seasons feel around here today - holiday/Covid mode is over and normal service and focus is where it's atMortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
