Right, I'm sure I had a Lad berques account back in the day, but it's gone - I contacted them on fb messenger, as they recommend, and they can't find it either.  So I can legitimately rejoin.  It was probably 10 years ago, so not surprising really.   Did a YG survey before that.

Ended up quite sad to be on fb - an ex-relative by marriage, close to me in age, and a feisty, feisty scouser (SWP member!) is very, very ill, so I did what I rarely do on fb and left a message.  I've known her since I was about 15, though never very well.  

I'm not doing any of the physical stuff right now, I might do something else later, but I'll see.  I owe myself my Asda treats - hash browns 😎

Your reference to leaf mold storage nudged me. I left it too late last year and missed out on the compostable jute loose-weave sacks I like - so just ordered some (well, 10) from this place (which was less than the same thing from Crocus, Sarah Raven, RHS or the bay of E)

Thanks Cheery!  I possibly shouldn't have called her an ex-relative which I did because the marriage that linked the families has long since ended, but we've been fb friends for ages in our own right.  We still don't have easy words to describe that sort of relationship!  But typically, a great fuss was made of International Egg And Chips Day

Anyway, today has a tiny ta-da list:
- dishwasher has finished, baking utensils cleaned now - coconut cake was made!
- done some more hand sewing for the cheesecloth nets upstairs.  Good job they're not weight-bearing    
- found out how to *add* to twitter lists, also easy peasy, which is useful.  

Oh dear, it felt like more than that I have some garden prep work to do before anything serious starts, so I might do that before Round Two of lunch (coconut cake!).

Thanks debtfree - its the kind of situation where no news is good news, just waiting now.  The internet was a source of much joy last night, after a walk, with photos of the new rescue cat sitting on a windowsill, and the newest baby getting confident with rolling over, to be able to see things like that on the day they happen, with a goodly number of pixels involved to bring clarity, is a wonderful thing.

Today: definitely more hand sewing on the nets, I'd like to finish cleaning the shopping, and I confess there's a little disaster in the kitchen I need to take care of: I soaked the huge tray covering the bottom of the oven, but didn't take care of it after an hour or so, and the mess after, ooh, 3 days, has to be seen to be believed.  I'm a horrible person in the kitchen sometimes 😂😝🤣
