Cheery, I managed to send the birthday card, and a chat with sister, but nothing else - felt extremely lairy, just flopped about pretending ... something or other. Rain and low cloud All Day didn't help! :)

Alchemilla, you sent me down the rabbithole again!  Argh :D I haven't decided.  I want legs long enough so that I can easily see the floor, and also push a vacuum under there; I want as high a back as possible; I want arms, not a clic-clac.  Has to be a 3 seater.  In the middle of last year, I was looking at paying a *lot* of money, but these are the ones I just found in the last ten minutes :)

They're describing this one as modern, contemporary, etc, but it looks very old to me.

This is the very first one I found - I like the look of it, but it looks cramped and over-styled compared to the Latitude and the World Menagerie above.
Edited 6th March: no, legs won't last.

All feedback from everyone gratefully received.  It won't get that much use, if it makes any difference!  Right, a shufti round the boards and I'm for bed.

Forgot to say: Vodafone sent me the account credit for the outage, £40.30 I think - I don't think I see it as money, but that's fine, my next bill goes out next week anyway.  All good tho!

It all depends on your personal taste I think.
I personally prefer the one which was your first choice.
Many moons ago I had a very patterned sofa but I ended up loathing it really quickly.
It also depends on what your current decor is like  :)

Personally, I would not choose a pattern. The last one in green looks lovely and comfortable. I would accessorise with patterned cushions, as patterns date and are more easily recovered when they do, rather than reupholstering a sofa
