Hi there! Still no Internet, once again I'm told it should be fixed by tonight. A week now! Just phoned re compo claim, confirming it starts from day of outage, not from my phone call some days later. They say they'll put a note on my account, sounds ok.
Also heard from Sains & told them about what people on here said. Staff member agreed with almost everything I said. Offered £750 compensation, accepted, doesn't stop me from escalating claim, apparently. Will buy more premium bonds (when interweb is back).
Sister not lurgied. Bro ill but insomniac, took a leisure drive out to Wales overnight, he's pretty hard-core, my brother!
I'm exhausted from sawing 2 shelves. Not hard-core. Ha! I have sunshine, might pootle around the block instead of sawing another shelf. First World, very aware of how heartbreaking the news is right now.

Awww, sorry RT! I hate tapping on the phone like this, and I've lost faith in the restoration of the Internet, I just don't know how long my limited data allowance might be needed. Its supposed to be on again right now, but I haven't checked, I'm watching 'Vera'
I went for a walk in the sunshine and also paid for the double glazing deposit, hurray, though the receptionist that took my debit card details sounded worryingly dozy. Done nothing really, I'm aching from all that sawing

Thanks all! Yep, it seems properly sorted ... I didn't even have to reboot my router. Such a relief to have everything accessible again!
As to what I did ... worry about brother and sister re covid, worry about Ukraine, worry about my garden, worry about the bookcase I'm sawing upthough I went on my council-run healthy walk on Wednesday, and the backstop person is still ill with covid, so I played backstop for the first time. I can adopt a Loud Teacher Voice with no problem, so I used that to bellow at people that those with walking sticks were getting left behind/ car approaching etc etc
turns out it's a job I'm quite good at
