Thanks madvix! My phone can use apps, so I'll download it, that's great. And I'll want it eventually for myself, hopefully
So, I've done the video and sent it, which took a while because I made the file size too big.
The curtain pole had to be shaken and cleaned before that, as it was draped over said bookcase. This did not go wellthe curtains are long, the pole is heavy, my concept just didn't work
but its done, and they're back where they belong, until the summer. Floor underneath is cleaned
ahem!
Duvet cover is out of the washing machine and drying nicely, its sunny, there's a *tiny* breeze, which is odd, but good enough.
So, still left for today: clear the garden, download ZapMap and a bit of separate research, put the slow cooker on. Not doing the hob today, I don't think.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Not doing the hob today, I don't think.I downloaded ZapMap, hurray, I need to understand the key properly, so I'll have a look via a browser, which I find easier to study - very pleased with it though. Slow cooker nearly done, red kidney beans and green split peas. Cook some pasta, throw in some tom. puree (and marmite
) and I'm done.

How on earth does life get busy when I do so little?
1. double glazing guy came back to me, checking my email address, I think he wrote it down wrongly (mea culpa, stupid email address) quote is £1492 incl vat, which I'm happy with, and have asked him to go forward. Contract being sent on Monday by email. My windows are on their way!
2. Storm precautions - making themselves known, but basically bits of faffing about. No problems - bins have had a little walk, patio table tried to do a somersault and failed. No problems.
3. Bro's visit next week: 3 pages of research on charging: I was making notes from ZapMap, Google Maps, Chargepoint and Podpoint. I'm done, totally crispy.
4. Visit with nephew next week: the timing he needs is too early for me, plus lots of fiddle-faddling up to London and back, it doesn't work.
5. What *does* work is that if bro can give me 5 minutes in my house with a tape measure and confirming my alcove/bookcase measurements, I could do a bit of the sawing - I can't do the complicated bit, but I can do the easy bit, I'd strongly prefer to share that between us. All good.
6. I missed the U3A Zoom talkon a 14th century battle site near me
the guy was saying it might be recorded, so I've emailed him to beg ...
7. I experimented with my idea of 2oz flour and an egg for a yorkshire pudding lunch. Not bad! I made the mix in the recently-used porridge bowlit was okay - I'm thinking I like pancakes more than the yorkshires that I make. My sister's are lovely, mine aren't
8. I've totally forgotten French accountsthis is getting a bit serious. Not doing it now, I'm *so* bored with sitting here, but I'll do it Sunday, while bro. is journeying down.
On that note, I'm done, smoked like a kipper 🐟 Enjoy the evening!2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
