Credit card fraud - energy endangered once again!
Says it all, really - £6746 and pennies in credit card fraud, I think the bank were already aware. All I can do is cut the card up. I *think* I'm also going to get a crime reference number, because if these guys tell me they think it wasn't fraud, they'll have a fight on their hands. I've told them I want them to tell me any updates by phone, not just by letter. Drat. Blast. Innumberable swearwords. I could have done without this.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -

Thanks hun - I think it will be okay, they simply want to confirm the money hasn't come anywhere near any of my accounts, which is actually fair enough. I've told them I'll get a crime reference number, which I've already done - if they try to make out this is my responsibility, I'll throw everything at it I can. Crime ref number is the first thing.
I'm still living with no gas boiler, so a lot of the house is cold. I have a convector heater, but its not the same, not as nice. Engineer from a firm I trust is turning up tomorrow morning. I'm going to bed right after Bake Off, quite frankly

It feels awful - the crime ref no is actually for me, not them - I want to prove to them that its not a fraud on my part, and registering online for a ref no seemed the simplest way. I'm resolutely not thinking of it, I've stayed in Westeros got to be up at 7 for the service engineer to call at 8.
