Apple, that's a good question ... I'm snookered for that with including the self care stuff like vitamin d each day, use of cleanser each day etc, but I might do a weekly thing, yes.
My greatest concern with the February list is that I haven't managed to do the French emailI hate doing it so much, I currently can't make myself. I really thought I'd do it today, as well. I must, must remember, doing this stuff is what gives me the chance to get the jobs done before the world opens up again. Though from the sound of it, with summer stuff cancelled too, that's going to be a long wait.
Well, tomorrow is another day, as Scarlett O'Hara said. I'll do it tomorrow. I mean, I have to! French accounts are due a *lot* sooner than UK.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Okay, I had a loooong phone call, and came away more determined than ever to do the French accounts: and I realised, I can't find where I saw the damning sentence "invoices must show VAT". So I've emailed the French accountant, who writes very clear English, bless her cotton socks, and we'll see. I may get away with that.
I now have a priority need to investigate my fabric stash, my sister's making a pink patchwork (our nephew is welcoming a baby girl Real Soon Now) so that's better than listening to the dishwasher prattle away. If I can find some, that will mean an adventurous trip to the postbox! Wooo!
I also did just enough this morning, of playing games etc, to become eligible for a £10 Amazon voucher from SB. It all helps.
2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -
Right, no further action needed on patchwork stash, my sister already has some material that belonged to an outfit of mine. And I'm awaiting the return email from my French accountant, and there's just one more computer game to play to get the max points for today (the next ad break when I'm watching Sky News). So, looking at my February list, none of the outside list is doable (its very cold; its snowing again) so I'm going to go for a new isa, new money that also takes transfers. I'm so grateful to Martin for doing a lot of this work.
ETA - just got a text from my doctor for the covid jab, pushed the link straight away, I'm getting it on Saturday, hurray.2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -

Thanks RT! The world really doesn't sound like it's going back to normal because of it, but if it means that I get the equivalent of a bad cold instead of death/ long covid, that's good news.
I have to update finance work so I know where I'm at. New ISA will use the money from the old Post Office account, which is paying me, wait for it, 0.01% p.a. in two accounts! So the tiddler account is now closed, money sent to my current account, and the main account now has a link installed to the same current account. 24 hour fraud delay means I can't do anything else on that today, which is acceptable, so I'll come back to that. I'll open the ISA once the money's in my current account. Right now, I'm looking at the two year fixed rate from Charter, where I already have a cash ISA, 0.61% pa., sigh. Won't transfer any isas - there's a very small one that gets a fraction less at 0.55% p.a., but I feel okay about that staying where it is. The two others earn more than a whole percentage point more.
Can't do anything else on that for now. Back to the February list. More organic rapeseed oil on the Next leather belt, then a completely new one: unearth the compact radio I bought last year for the kitchen, and, y'know, get it working in the kitchen. I know how to live, don't I
ETA - just had an email telling me that logging in to my current account via their app gets me an extra £1 a month in rewards - since I get £2, thats a big increase, especially for things I need to do anyway. And I'm not exactly in danger of having my phone stolen when I venture out right now, lets face it.2023: the year I get to buy a car3 -

Had mine over 2 weeks ago. Watch out for the headache & be ready to take paracetamol. 2 people I know couldn't stay awake for over 24 hours. But if it comes to a choice then I am happy to have a headache & wish I'd been struck by the can't stay awake. Hopefully my second one will be mid April. It is looking like in the years to come we will be having the flu jab in one arm & the Covid one in the other. And at some point we should be having the shingles one too. Pin cushion anyone?

Zoe are asking people to log vaccines and reactions. They’ve done their first report on how people have reacted to the Pfizer jab. It might be useful to look at if you want to know what’s normal.4
