Interesting step to commit to is washing my hair with a bar of shampoo - it avoids the plastic bottle, and they say that the bars have fewer chemicals than the liquids, apparently.
Yep - they are a sort of modified soap bar. I used to make them (and soap, bath melts, body butters etc).when I was an aromatherapist as an additional source of income (and also sold at craft fairs and a bit online) Whilst I love a good handmade bar of soap I personally don't like shampoo bars - whatever I tried (mine and others) my hair was either fluffy and flyaway or heavy and lank or dull. I buy huge bottles  of s'poo and wash my hair every 2-3 days, so they last ages, so I'm sticking with that! :D

Thanks Viking - I have a Holland and Barrett in walking distance (when shops are open, I suppose!) and though I loathe their pricing policies as being complete chancers, that would be really worthwhile.

I ended up with lots of aches, pains and headaches by the end of yesterday, I'm continuing to use painkillers today, couldn't even have a normal length phone convo with my sister :(   I'll have a slow walk today inside the house, between the most distant two bits I can find, too slow and steady for anything aerobic, but at least get the blood moving a little bit.

Thanks both - I feel much better today, no painkillers now needed, so now it's about recovery and gaining fitness.  Probably won't do that outside today, not all the ice has melted from my bird baths, so it's not *that* warm.  But it's on the way, hurray.

A few things that I set in motion before the vaccination have been trundling onwards:
    - I emailed my maintenance firm in France for a VAT invoice, using someone else's words :):):) and they replied *really* fast - and promptly sent me the details for 2019.  Yeah, no.  So I've emailed back already, using my staccato, childlike written French, and we'll see what happens.
    - I'm slowly closing my Post Office account that pays 0.01%, argh, and the experimental £50 has finally arrived in my current account.  Feeling a bit dodgy about doing the whole thing in one go, so I've sent a third of the remainder, and we'll see if that arrives there as well.  If it does, the whole of the last lot can go, and I'll be able to open that ISA soon.
    - £10 Amazon voucher from SB, credited to my account.  There are YG and Pinecone emails waiting for me, so I'll have a go there.
    - I've taped a 15 minute exercise video from Mark Wright?  Recommended to me, but unknown.  Better than lots of little 3 minute bits from the Strictly team on Morning Live, much as I love them, they're cluttering up my dvd recorder

Now if I can just catch up with what needs to go into the dishwasher and the washing machine, I'll really be in recovery mode :)
