Thanks Ed!
Just had a look at my paperwork, and SSE, bless their cotton socks, provide clear information about how much their dividends are, even though I'm a member of their re-investment scheme. Their little statement has a line which states: "Total relevant cash value of dividend", just add the 2 statements together, and hey ho away we go. Thrilling
The £25 has gone to buy premium bonds, I'll wait till NS&I give me confirmation it's arrived, and then buy the rest. I'll finish off inputting the UK tax form, wait a few days and keep it in draft form in case I realise I've done something weird, then submit it.
After that, in no particular order, go out for a walk, clean the shopping that's been sitting in my porch, and tidy the office. Any spare energy after that, I could start to draft the *next* letter to cahoot, or even phone mastercard to get the account put on to paperless, though that's unlikely.

You know what, RT, as I wrote that, I remembered that I've seen the same. I'll try that, thanks for the reminder - it's a separate item on the Big List2023: the year I get to buy a car4

Warning: Loud Screaming and Ranting
So, I had some time and energy to spare, and I thought, ha, I'll do that now. Tell them I'm registering for paperless. Except I haven't registered for banking online at all with them. And they couldn't register me because they didn't have my mobile phone number, so please ring umpty tump number and we'll see to it. Well, it was still before 7.30, so I thought, I'll go for it. I rang Sainsbo mastercard. A bad phone conversation ensued, where I'm left helpless and angry and no further forward. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRgh.
They wanted more than the usual range of security questions because I was giving them a mobile phone number. So the questions were:- what month and year did I open the current account linked to my credit card (all options within the last 3 years, and I truly have no idea).
- credit limit on the credit card. No clue.
- what credit was still available. If I hadn't been so stressed, I'd have known this - because it's actually in credit at the moment.
So now I have a nice shiny complaint number, a procedural complaint, not about the staff member. They're also sending me a code, through the post, so I can ring them with said code and get past all this with that. And of course this whole game started because I want less post from them in a global pandemic.
I have moneysupermarket open right now on another tab, and I'm looking at the Rewards credit cards. /End screaming and ranting

Gosh KC, that sounds super frustrating!! I shall scream a little on your behalf so you can give your throat a rest - aarrggghhh!!4
-
Thank you so much! That made me smile
Moneysupermarket was very nearly as mad as Sainsbo Finance with regard to the security questions, so I closed it down, and came back to the sweetness and light of moneysavingexpert, the one and the only90% chance of acceptance at JL - their finance division isn't top rate, I have to say, they were very stressful when we were trying to get probate a few years back, but there are a few rewards, and they're mastercard, which is important as that's what I'm trying to replace. I seriously think I'll go for it.
Signing off now ... I don't have any sweet treats in the house, which is a bit aggravating toobut probably just as well! What would I do with out mse! Nightie night all.

I've got a JL Mastercard and it's fab. The rewards for non-JL spend is less than it was but I love JL vouchers which can be used in Waitflower too. They are a lot less faffy when I use their card to pay online with no verified by visa or anything to further delay things (21st century 1st world problems
