Thanks RT - you're right, actually, the judgemental voice is my **inner** voice
Just been out for a long walk with her, amongst sheep and whatnot, and found an extra little path that led to old farm buildings, very nice. Holed up for the day now, though I may possibly switch the washing machine on - its not just normal covid precautions, there's a lot of mud out there in the countryside

You are so good with your regular garden work, I was just thinking of you today as I saw my bedding plants that I need to remove! I am glad your sister understands your choice. Hair raising to think your positive relative is being asked to work. Surely she must be fully recovered?Save £20,000 in 2025. April 2k, May 3.5k5

The mud thing is horrendous here. I've got three pairs of wellies (warm but wet, -30 warm ones and some new lace-up ones the podiatrist insisted I needed) and I've taken to putting a trug in the outside garden sink so I can wash the worst off before coming in. I trod it all over the brick floored rooms again before realising how much was on the sides (doh) this week. You would think I might remember but no!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Sister came over again yesterday, because of the horrendous rain, and drove me to a routine medical thingy, checking some keratin splodges I have - you can never be sure yourself, so I got 'em checked. All fine, which is always a relief.
After two days like that, though, I'm shattered, plus I slept really badly last night, so I'm not up for much today. But I must have a gentle walk early this afternoon to help with sleeping tonight.

Thank you all - yes, little walk was fine, although *very* little, I was still really tired. Better today though
in spite of having just lost a completed post on here, argh.
So, the list:
- tidied up - yes, though lots more to do.
- dishwasher on, just finished, and part of it's contents are two Bonne Maman jam jars, a good portion of the quince jelly will hopefully be in them. Though I boiled it with sugar yesterday, and erm, it hasn't set. Might be a disaster in the making, we'll see
- washing machine on - just started; sky looks really dodgy, so I won't peg it out, I'll get it draped on driers.
- one more item to wash - the mac I wore on Thursday can't take 60 degrees, which is what I use for everything in these covid days, thats very little work extra!
- I had no phone energy at all yesterday, and there was a call, so I'll have to text and arrange to call on Monday
- what phone energy I *do* have has to go on nephew and his wife, I'm turning down their lovely Christmas invite and extending one of my own for May.
- sort my Christmas card list (I'm not too bad there, actually) and get going on writing them. Christmas has once again emerged from a wormhole to surprise me ... got to check December birthdays too.
A lot of those really don't take much time, so I'm hoping a lot of that will get done.2023: the year I get to buy a car5
