I'm hereSalad burnet - these days, if I eat salad, I use a lot of avocado oil and bottled lemon juice - I don't think it has a huge taste, tbh. I bought a little plant at a local market ages ago, and it gradually naturalised in my (clay soil) garden.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

No idea what I'm doing thats mse today
I haven't even checked the new Regular Saver situation
I'm mostly doing laundry and getting stuff together to stay with my sister. I'm going to have a lesson tomorrow in how to switch her tv on - everyone's is different these days, its not early onset of you know what, I promise!
I might actually try to get to grips with hte new computer. That would be nice, and would speed up my life *considerably* ....2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -
KC - doing laundry yourself is very MSE as you are not paying someone to do it for you & therefore saving yourself some money. Getting to grips with the new computer is also very MSE as it will save you time & as I keep hearing these days time=money,
I think that those of us on these boards who are now 'part of the furniture' forget that our lives have morphed into money-saving by default and that most of what we do is to live frugally!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Yep, that's definitely right RT! I think that's the idea behind the 'what small things...' thread (which I never post on any more, oh dear!) I'm sure we all do more than we give ourselves credit for!5

Aww, thank you both! Thats true, isn't it, its part of the landscape now. Though I've had the heating on with the windows open to dry off said laundry - I can't trust the weather enough to just put it outside, oops.Stuff to take on my little trip is all set aside, now it needs to be set aside *together*2023: the year I get to buy a car5

If you were trying to dry the washing yesterday Karma, I'm not surprised you couldn't put it outside! Couldn't agree more RT, the 'small things' are all so ingrained, it's just how we live (and that we don't notice them speaks volumes about how they really aren't an issue!).
Are you off to your sister's today Karma?Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
