How nice you guys are to me *blushes* thank you!Thats a kind thought, SL, but honestly, there's so much work needs to be done on the perimeters of my property, its just one more on the list, it really is.I'm always confused by people saying I do a lot *blushes again*. I think partly because I'm only working heavily for an hour or two, and partly because in order to achieve that, I abandon lots of things that other people think of as essential, like cleaning every so often *blushes furiously this time*. I keep forgetting people my age are expected to slow down a bit ... hey ho. Its nearly all in the back garden now, thats good. And like RT, I have buckets and buckets of rain, woo hoo! On the day after my garden hose was delivered
I'm very glad to have it though.
Just need a canter around the boards, then I'll think what to do.2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
That was either quite the canter or your to-do list took over!

Oh! Yes, the to do list took over! I hadn't even loaded the dishwasher
so that came first - and at the same time I did the handwashing - the chopping boards, the yogurt pots to start seeds off
the roasting tin from a few days ago
I worked my socks off! Horrendous
And then I logged on to the local wholesaler who'd accepted my opening an account, and went through what they're offering with a fine toothcomb - bought *industrial* quantities of stuff! 900g of feta, 2.5kg (in one tin!) of tinned butterbeans, 5kg of brown rice, 2.5kg of frozen spinach (!) and a ridiculous amount of gluten free flour. It was weird! But funI've also planted most of the pea seeds (though not all, pah). Doing what I can.Set up my kitchen table, finally, as a crafting space: washed the curtain material/ muslin I'm using to become a bowl cover and a lining for a sieve, I don't have a sieve thats fine enough for quinoa. I also chopped up an old necklace to use as weights for the bowl cover, and then staggered to the kettle for 3 cups of teaDear me, thats quite a lot! It was raining all day, so I didn't go outside, except to throw some chia seeds onto the paving that the sparrows like2023: the year I get to buy a car5 -

It looks like a lot written down, but honestly, I skived off whenever I could, and I had a two hour lunchHow are you doing, RT, are you making sure you have a lunch hour and getting a walk in? And your OH getting goodly amounts of exercise?2023: the year I get to buy a car3

It's a good thing not to plant all the pea seeds - you don't want a glut all at the same time - better to stagger a few at a time. Take it easy, maybe read a book! the rain is here until the weekendSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I'd never seen them as a child - in spite of being in the brownies! But as soon as I *did* see them, I realised how incredibly useful they are. I'll put a pic up on here now that's easier to do - I cut the material into 3 this morning, needle, thread and pins are sitting there too. I'm kind of glued to my armchair today, waiting for this humongous wholesaler order.
Sounds like a very busy day - glad to hear you made time for lunch and cups of tea!! 😁The list is a bit long, isn't itI do work better when I've got several things on the go at once, I must have a low boredom threshold
but it does mean things take a while to get finished.
Today? The bowl cover, seeing to the delivery and maybe a little play on ancestry, I deserve that

...the walk/wander happens in the evening & much like Cheery's outside wall building it gives me an actual break between work & rest - I've never appreciated living remotely until now...also manage some yoga or pilates or hitt first thing in the morning & another quick yoga session around 2pm to stretch out the back & neck - no fancy ergonomic set-up at home...
