Yikes! I'd rather, erm, I rather do anything than do a video call :rotfl: I'm really not much for the phone at all, even if its audio only :p I emailed, and I've just got back in and she's emailed already, saying "next year", basically. Which is lovely.

I hopped over to an exhibition at a local National Trust property - it was good, but not up to much, to be honest. But thats the thing wtih this stuff, if you don't go, you'll never know that :) not quite FOMO though! As for t'other, I'll wait for you to reveal The Thing :)

Got very cold while out, so its now crash time with a DVD and several hot drinks :)

Good morning campers :) nothing much yesterday, I was pretty cold after Friday for some reason (as well as tired), so, gulp, I pulled out all the haberdasher gubbins from my stash, and started tidying it. I can't use it if I can't find it. Didn't finish, but didn't do too badly. Rejigging to keep all the knitting stuff together, otoh, is a different kettle of fish, and not a fishie for today.

My alarm is on, I'm not going anywhere for the memorial, but I'll take notice here at home. After that, I want some tidying time in the garden, but not for long, its cold out there!

Video call was just a suggestion - assumed other people must like them more than me..., but clearly not you! :rotfl:

Haberdashery organisation sounds like a good job done. I think I need to do that - I've inherited a small portion of the huge amount my Nan had. I've got loads of empty wooden cotton reels! (I just look at it all and put it back! :o )

    Yeah, no :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm very familiar with that :p and I'm afraid the job is still only 80% done, hmph.

I've been out on the health walk thing - can't go for the next two weeks either, drat it! - but at least I went, and they remembered me!

Also just done a long email, that went well, and this afternoon there are a few jobs:
    - pay cc
    - get the Nectar double up, I just about qualify.
    - email U3A: website's gone funny, I don't have a log in, and assorted other nonsense.
    - gardening.
    - finish off the haberdashery - I'll leave this till later, as it gets dark so early.

    Yes, easy peasy.

    - get the Nectar double up, I just about qualify.
I qualify, but its not available from the app till tomorrow :)

    - email U3A: website's gone funny, I don't have a log in, and assorted other nonsense.
I waited, I thought it might be me. It's not ... so I have to frame a suitably calm information email telling them to get their finger out :D

    - gardening.
Tidied the leaves and the patio at the back yesterday, and this morning, before the rain, I filled a black bag *very* full. Still not done, but better.

    - finish off the haberdashery - I'll leave this till later, as it gets dark so early.
    Just finished, yay.

Otherwise, I got some washing out on the line early today, and kept on trying to tidy up and make my space useable, and user friendly. Texting in the background every so often too.

Thanks SL! I find ta-da lists really important, otherwise that sense of "what did I do? how did I spend my time?" gets to be very demotivating, as I'm still at the stage where jobs are important. Partly because I keep going away :j:j:j

I also sent a late birthday card yesterday :o I really need to hang my birthday calendar up on a wall somewhere - thats one of the jobs that don't get done :o Ah well, bit by bit.

    Today:
    - SB has gone very well, about 6 questions netted me 100 points (about 80p).
    - Enviro group email and Nectar app double up thingy: I can buy prosecco for Xmas :D and fill up the remainder with a cat teatowel :D
    - one more go on the washing machine - yesterday was v successful.
    - tart myself up a bit, one of the women in the healthy walks group is holding a bit of a concert at a local arts group. She was a professional singer back in the day, but even so, good to pop along.
    - if I can, bit more gardening.
    - find somewhere to put the birthday calendar!

Thanks for the reminder about Nectar - it's a bottle of prosecco here too (but for a gift).

Yep, if you've got something useful to buy, its really good. I *was* going to buy some good quality tin openers :D as I couldn't find mine since the kitchen renovation, but the reviews were terrible, so I looked again and found prosecco :D Then yesterday, I found my tin opener :j

I was awake quite a while in the middle of the night last night, but in contrast to how these things usually go, I slept in for **ages** :p and in fact haven't long finished my breakfast coffee! So today's to-do list will be considerably shorter - mostly around rubbish and recycling and leaf clearing, to be honest :rotfl:

Coo, I needed my very quiet day yesterday: thought I'd have trouble sleeping after that, but I didn't, so all good.

    Today, though

    - SB has gone nicely, big chunk of points, nearly all done for today.
    - need to write a couple of emails, oops, one is very late :o.
    - get the w/m going again - the wheel keeps turning :rotfl:
    - tidying and packing.
    - pay cc
    - supermarket order.
    - lots of background faff :p
