Hurray, lots done - now to "focus" on the background faff, tidying etc :rotfl: which currently means going to the pavement side of the property to collect some more fallen leaves

Do you stick them in books so you can treasure them?Save £12k in 2026 #2 I have banked £865.15 in January against a £10k target The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2026 I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026 - currently £138.39 for January and a bigger target of £300 for February, with lots to stock up on

I stick them in bags in the garden so they can rot down to give me leaf humus for my lovely (but clay-ey) soil

Although, I've seen a Japanese art on tv - dying material by folding it over and under a leaf and taking a hammer to it - the leaves aren't very colourful right now, but when they were, that would be a great thing to do. It'd need a fixing, though. More things in heaven and earth, Horatio .... I love learning through online shenanigans
Today is basically packing for catsitting "duties" and possibly pottering over to Sainsbo to use the double Nectar. I managed to chat to the nice neighbour yesterday, who'll take on security duties as per usual, so thats good.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
More leaves :j
Discovered my lovely Trespass coat I bought for half price last year is washable
:o:o its nice and clean now.
I managed to get to Sainsbo for the double up - and unless I know there's one big item I want, I'm not doing the double up again, such a faff. I looked at the booze and thought, I don't want it. Plus the cat teatowel was sold out :rotfl: though not the dog! Eventually, I bought two x 500g tubs of Nivea moisturiser - paid total 50p of real money. But the time it took! For me, its a bad promotion, not worth the time or the effort. But I did buy a couple of feta cheese blocks, a staple I'd run out of :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
We don't bother with the double up malarkey. Much prefer to use the points in argoos. Well done for persisting!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
