Yay to hydro electric! Just like Norway
getting woken like that is a bit of a bummer, RT! Erm, the gardening - happily, I chose the one dry hour we had :rotfl: I went in when I felt my back had had enough, and by the time I'd washed my hands and made a cuppa, it was **tipping** down, I must be psychic :rotfl: and it hasn't stopped since.
The environment agency flood map is a bit too exciting right nowhttps://flood-warning-information.service.gov.uk/warnings though there's nothing that affects me now or during my travels

I have an alternate monday night alarm on my phone to put the bins out - works for me.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

An alarm might really work if my phone would *name* them (maybe it will! I don't know yet
). The trouble is, the collection is always Friday morning, and one week its rubbish, the next its recycling, and so it goes throughout the year - I have most trouble on days like yesterday, when I've just come back from holiday. I do like that, redo, I'll have a check and let you know.

applemuncher - yes they do, my phone says so
Karmacat, mine lets me set a named reminder or appointment that recurs fortnightly rather than just an alarm. I am a goldfish without it, but alternate Mondays at 7pm it says but the X bin out.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

And here I am having been awake a *long* time because of it! Got bored and got up to have a cuppa tea.
Jobs I really need to do:
- shower and hairwash, so I can cut my fringe.
- pack
- admin phone call with sister.
- transfer some genealogy research I did last night to my phone.
- walk to the railway station to collect train ticket.
- dw is on at the moment, needs another run tonight, for leftovers and new stuff.
- can I fit any gardening into that schedule? We'll see.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Not yet.
- pack
A few small piles
- admin phone call with sister.
And brother too, so about an hour on the phone, plus confirmatory email, plus phone call to the place we'll be eating. Bro and sis are both ill
- transfer some genealogy research I did last night to my phone.
Done, phew!
- walk to the railway station to collect train ticket.
Just about to put my shoes on and go for it.
- dw is on at the moment, needs another run tonight, for leftovers and new stuff.
First lot done, 2nd lot will go in tonight after I've made tomorrow's lunch.
- can I fit any gardening into that schedule? We'll see.
Can I? Er no, I can't :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I *am* going to turn collecting my train ticket into a slightly longer walk, and I'm going to buy some instant oats at the Waitrose next door to it.
I don't know how I'd manage without lists on hereeven on a list on my phone doesn't have the same impact.
:kisses3: Love you guys.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Right - still not thrown everything into my suitcase (or cut my fringe, come to that :rotfl: but everything else is done, including lunch on the train, and the instant oats for brekkies, plus all the stuff I put in: ashwagandha, pumpkin seeds, linseed, sunflower seed, cinnamon, and turmeric.
Oh! Haven't watered the plants, including the little rosemaries, got to do that tonight.
Thank you all for putting up with my meanderings :T2023: the year I get to buy a car0
