    I'm back :) hello all. All the journeys went really well, in spite of seeing the effects of the flooding as we travelled north. We got the main job done, the trip over to Yorkshire, but also had a fantastic time sightseeing :rotfl: not only the moors, but parts of Merseyside I haven't been for years, and hopping over to Chester to see the cathedral, where a rellie of mine (very, very distant) built the organ. Literally!

    Washing is done, just got to wash a pair of bootee slippers reclaimed from my brother's house. No chaos here at home, though I confess the place is filthy :o That might be a good focus here today, because the weather is as bad here as everywhere else that doesn't have actual storm warnings out.

    Thanks both! I made a good start today on the jobs, and Firefox has totally bollixed my day - tried to speed it up, bookmarks went missing, all sorts of shenanigans ensued: user profiles, using IE, system restor and reinstall, ug. Seems to be working again - I couldn't even get to sites I'd been on since returning yesterday. I need to think about that.


    Still raining, but its stopped blowing - I may need to just step outside for ten minutes :)

    I never got outside - it was raining *hard* 5 minutes after that, so I finally got to sweep downstairs :o.
